Code of ethic
On December 22, 2004 the Board of Directors of SAES Getters S.p.A. and SAES Advanced Technologies S.p.A. respectively approved their own Model of Organization, Management and Control and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and appointed each the so called "Oversight Committee", in order to monitor their actually observance.
Such Organizational Models and Codes of Ethics meet the requirements of a new set of rules recently enacted in Italy (the Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 on "Regulations on the Administrative Responsibility of Legal Persons").
The Code of Ethics and Business Conduct of SAES Getters S.p.A. and SAES Advanced Technologies S.p.A. forms an integral part of each Organizational Model and identifies the Company’s principles and values, drawing attention to rules of conduct which are of fundamental importance for the correct operation and the reliability of the Saes’s management and image.
Compliance with law, transparency and correctness in the management activity, fair competition, respect of the legitimate interests of stakeholders, customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, institutions and society as a whole, are the ethical principles to which Saes’s activity is inspired.
The Codes of Ethics (provided both in Italian and English version) lay down the rules set forth by SAES Getters S.p.A. and SAES Advanced Technologies S.p.A., that directors, employees, advisors and consultants and any other subject who works for the Company must follow while performing their professional activity.
The English version is the translation of the Italian official Code of Ethics; for any difference between the two texts, the Italian text shall prevail.
Saes is well aware of its responsibility towards the community and the social and ecological environment in which it operates.
