Role Description
We are looking for a professional with solid experience in management control and financial planning, gained in multinational, industrial, and manufacturing environments. The Senior Financial Controller will support top management in developing a strategic vision, optimizing processes, and improving company profitability. This person will play a key role in helping the company achieve its financial goals by combining strong technical accounting and financial skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage management control and financial planning activities, with a focus on cost analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Monitor financial and economic performance
- Coordinate between the accounting department and management
- Conduct industrial cost analysis and evaluate the profitability of products and cost centers
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, leveraging strong results-driven mindset and analytical precision (e.g., develop management reports and dashboards to support decision-making)
- Prepare management reporting, identifying strategies to optimize processes and financial flows, and to improve company profitability
- Perform variance and KPI analyses, identifying corrective actions when needed
- Participate in investment evaluations and medium- to long-term planning processes
Requirements and Skills
- At least 10–12 years of experience in complex industrial and manufacturing environments, within management control and/or cost analysis (industrial cost accounting)
- Degree in Management Engineering or Business Administration
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent command of major ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Advanced Excel)
- Knowledge of corporate governance principles
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Familiarity with national and international accounting standards (OIC, IFRS)
