precision and long-term reliability are crucial, maintaining a stable and clean high vacuum is one of the main requirements to avoid detrimental contamination of the optics.<br \/>\nAt <a href=\"https:\/\/synchrotron.uj.edu.pl\/en_GB\/linie-badawcze\/polyx\"><strong>PolyX beamline &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS<\/strong><\/a>, this task was successfully met with a <strong>single <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saesgetters.com\/highvacuum\/solution\/nextorr-hv\/\">NEXTorr\u00ae HV 300<\/a><\/strong> pump integrated into the water-cooled <strong>double-crystal Si monochromator with multilayer mirrors<\/strong> designed and built by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cinel.com\/cinel\/\"><strong>Strumenti Scientifici Cinel<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n        <div class=\"col-6\">\n      <div>\n        <p>For <strong>more than<\/strong> <strong>2.5 years<\/strong>, this compact getter\u2013ion hybrid pump kept the operational vacuum stable in the mid E-7 mbar range \u2014 <strong>without any bake-out of the monochromator, without neither additional auxiliary pumps nor cryocooling and with no maintenance required<\/strong>.<br \/>\nA remarkable demonstration of<strong> the reliability and efficiency<\/strong> of SAES High Vacuum\u2019s products.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n
