The rotational motion of the SmartFlex torsion bar, perpendicular to the fluid path, efficiently directs the fluid flow to desired channels. By decoupling from the fluid flow and its associated pressure drop, significant force reduction is achieved, resulting in miniaturization and cost advantages, while preserving the benefits of noiseless sensing and actuation capabilities. SMA\u00ae Torsion Wires are specifically designed to generate high torque in response to thermal stimuli. With a typical torque range of 0.04 Nm to 0.4 Nm and a typical angle rotation range (based on a 30 mm torsional bar length) from 45\u00b0 to 120\u00b0, these wires offer exceptional performance. Binary (NiTi) and ternary (NiTiCu) alloys can be utilized within a temperature range of -25\u00b0C to +95\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n\n \n
