Dispensable Getter Composites

As an advanced materials Company, SAES Group has developed a comprehensive portfolio of advanced functional materials to be integrated in a plurality of electronics device architectures, working as dispensable getter compositesto enable an effective encapsulation technology: all are solventless formulations, which can be applied via screen printing, blading, syringe dispensing.

Getter materials which can keep moisture concentrations at extremely low values or completely out of the internal volume are very often required to protect a wide variety of devices, spanning from electronics and organic electronics to photonics and medical devices.

SAES embraced the development of a complete set of dispensable dryer families (e.g. DryPaste®, eDry™, MicroDryer™) by exploiting the functional properties of getter systems and the peculiarity of polymer formulations. SAES dispensable dryers are polymer composites available in practical syringes and provide significant advantages to encapsulation technology compared to conventional discrete systems:conformal application, cheaper deposition process and easier integration in device architectures (even in flexible and transparent devices).
