A presence that tells a vision

Innovation in an industrial context is not only about products and technologies. It is also about the ability to connect different areas of expertise and present them to the market through a clear, coherent and recognizable vision.

With this objective, SAES took part in IPAC 2026, one of the most relevant international events for the particle accelerator sector and for the scientific and technological research community.

The event represented a strategic opportunity to communicate the value of the SAES ecosystem in the field of Integrated Vacuum Solutions, through the combined expertise of SAES High Vacuum, CINEL, FMB Berlin and SAES Rial Vacuum.

The SAES ecosystem in particle accelerators and beyond

The distinctive value of this ecosystem lies in its ability to integrate specific experience, technical know-how and project capabilities into a single, solid value proposition.

Each SAES company contributes specialized expertise developed in different yet complementary fields. However, the real value lies in the combination of these capabilities: a platform of competences spanning from vacuum technologies to mechanical engineering, assembly, and testing, able to respond to the complex requirements of particle accelerators and new-generation synchrotron light sources. Combined with careful control of industrial processes, this approach positions SAES as an integrated, reliable, and recognizable partner in the market.

In this sense, collaboration, information exchange, and shared project development are not only organizational elements, but concrete levers to strengthen SAES’ positioning in the High Vacuum market.

A stand designed to communicate integration

For IPAC 2026, this vision took shape in a stand designed to make the strength of an integrated industrial proposal immediately perceptible.

Graphics, layout and visual flow were developed to create an essential, modern and functional environment, suitable for a technical and scientific audience. The objective was to represent SAES as a unified ecosystem, enhancing the specific strengths of the different companies involved without fragmenting the overall message.

The stand was therefore not only an exhibition space, but also a communication tool: a way to translate a complex industrial offer into a clear and consistent experience.

Virtual Reality: making complexity visible

Among the most distinctive elements of the 2026 edition, the area dedicated to Virtual Reality offered visitors an immersive experience within selected projects representative of the High Vacuum world.

The VR experience was designed to make complex solutions more accessible, direct and memorable, especially where traditional communication tools alone are not sufficient to fully convey the value of highly specialized technologies.

Visitors could explore different applications and competences, including NEXTorr pumps, high-precision cavities, NEG coating processes, complex vacuum chambers for new synchrotron radiation sources, and advanced beamline systems.

In a sector where many technologies are highly specialized or not immediately visible, creating experiences capable of translating complexity into understanding becomes an important lever to strengthen dialogue with customers, partners and the scientific community.

Communication as part of the industrial experience

Throughout the project, Group Marketing & Communication worked closely with the Division to translate the SAES ecosystem into a clear and coherent experience.

The contribution went beyond the coordination of a trade fair presence. It involved shaping a common narrative, developing a consistent visual identity and creating tools capable of making complex technologies more accessible and recognizable to different audiences.

From the stand layout to the Virtual Reality experience, each element was designed to support the business objectives while strengthening the perception of SAES as an integrated ecosystem.

A platform for relationships and positioning

IPAC 2026 was therefore much more than a trade fair participation. It was a platform for relationships, positioning and storytelling.

The project confirms how collaboration between technical expertise, business vision and communication can contribute to strengthening the perception of SAES as an integrated, solid and future-oriented company.
