Continuous Improvement Manager

Our opportunity:

As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to define and execute continuous improvement programs that enhance cost competitiveness and process efficiency. You will play a crucial role in driving a Continuous Improvement culture.

Your role:

You will be responsible for deploying and sustaining continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, focusing on working conditions and margin improvements. With a tight coordination with plant managers, you will:

  • Promote a CI Culture across the organization, fostering a mindset of continuous growth and improvement
  • Analyze operational processes and practices to identify areas for safety, efficiency, and quality improvements
  • Conduct time and method analysis to optimize production processes, identify inefficiencies, and streamline workflows
  • Generate detailed CI initiatives across plants, driving savings and efficiency with the cooperation of internal stakeholders and plant managers
  • Lead effective processes’ implementation at a country level to improve operations, process management, and energy optimization
  • Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams during CI deployments
  • Monitor the progress of CI projects, ensuring they align with company goals and generate measurable savings
  • Report progress tracking data to ensure CI initiatives are on target
  • Collaborate closely with plant managers and other internal stakeholders (e.g. Supply Chain, Operations, Safety, Quality teams) to ensure successful implementation of CI projects
  • Share learnings and best practices within your country and the other countries

What we’re looking for:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Work Experience: 5/7 years in Operations Management, Operational Excellence Program Management, or Continuous Improvement Management in Metalworking Industries
  • Language: Native Italian and fluent in business English

  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Good Project Management skills
  • Ability to quickly develop technical / process expertise
  • Ability to train managers and colleagues on CI methodologies and projects
  • Green Belt Certification is a plus

Location:

  • Avezzano with several transfers to Lainate
